It's a pretty good read, but to be honest, if you love Colbert's comedic style the audio book is just better. The timing and tone is what makes the humor so on spot, and it just doesn't translate well in this book.

Before reviewing, I want to get it out in the open that I am a hardcore Colbert Report fan... so I may be a little biased. ;)        I Am America (And So Can You!) is a hilarious book.  You cannot go into this book hoping to take it seriously; you have to start reading it with the intent of laughing.  Stephen Colbert covers his views on politics, family, sports, etc.; basically all "his" views on life.  If you have ever seen his show; the book is …

I love Stephen Colbert. I've watched almost every episode of The Colbert Report since it premiered a few years ago. For anyone who enjoys his show, his book, I Am America (And So Can You!), is a must-read. It's more of Colbert’s satirical sense of humor, so intentionally over-the-top ridiculous that it's hard not to laugh at it. He covers varying topics, including religion, family, sports, etc. There are also hilarious footnotes and notes in the margins, packing even more jokes …
