It doesn’t hurt that they are some of the most charming…
It doesn’t hurt that I’m watching them on HDTV…
It doesn’t hurt that all the four of them makes it the more powerful…
(there is something about 4 attractive men coming together; it’s simply magic :-))
It doesn’t hurt that I love Il Divo!
So, what makes the whole more than the sum of all its parts?
Il Divo at the Coliseum!
I was at the Coliseum back then in 1993, it didn’t come alive for me. A historical place, so I thought.
I had listened to many groups performing live before, it didn’t evoke a sense of life for me.
This time, at the Coliseum, watching them from afar, both the performers and the audience, listening to some of the most inspirational songs of our lifetime, Il Divo AND the Coliseum come alive for me…  it’s as if I’m sitting right there in the ring, with all the other audiences… S e n s a t i o n a l !!!

The DVD has only 6 songs in it. When I first saw it at a CD shop in Pacific Place in Hong Kong, I thought it was a tad too expensive. Afterall, it’s only 6 songs! I finally bought it in China, where things are a lot cheaper for some reason (and it’s not a pirated disc either, it’s licensed). I was dead wrong, it is worth a lot more!

And I began to listen and watch it tonight, in the comfort of my living room. And I thought, hey, it’s awesome!!! When I thought I’ve lost the incentive and inspiration to write, Il Divo at the Coliseum has that X-factor… it inspires me to share something inspirational across the universe, in cyberspace…
It begins with Amazing Grace and ends with The Promise. What a climax that is! I wish I was there myself, at the Coliseum, again… and yes, that’s a wish I promise myself, may be one day in the future, again.
The Power of Love, Hallelujah, The Winner Takes It All, Adagio… Thanks again, Il Divo! You guys are amazing!!!
5 years, 22 million records… oh yeah, they are no doubt the Stars!!!
Close your eyes or open your eyes… and listen in full blast. You’ll hear it…
(I heard it in Adagio, the audience too.  Did you?)

Coming up soon... Il Divo Live in Barcelona!
