Don't Believe Them, If They Say That Their Product Will Not Break.

If you are handy around the house and do a lot of the work yourself then these blades are a necessity for your arsenal. No matter which brand name that you purchase, they are reasonably cheap. But these are far from unbreakable. You will get 5 inside each package. Yes they are as razor sharp as the next brand. These are just like any other blade and are just as universal as the next. These will only cost you a few dollars a pack depending where you purchasing them from. They can be purchased at just about any type of big box or hardware store close to you.

Description
These blades come in several different amounts, but they all are the same universal size and will fit inside any brand name razor blade knife. They are approximately three inches in length and have two notches in the top center to hold the blade in place. Stanley has probably the nicest set up, because usually you have to undo a Phillips head screw in the center of the case to get to the blade and replace it. But Stanley, has a set up where there is a button located on top at the front, that will allow you to replace the blade without having to open it up.

Experience
You probably have some kind of variation of this kind of blade inside of your toolbox. If you are like me then you will have several types of these blades all over your garage and house. They are not the least bit expensive so if you happen to have replace your knife you will not have to worry about breaking the bank. I have been using this type of blade for over thirty years and have purchased my fair share of them. I have purchased the more expensive ones and I have purchased the cheap ones such as these.  This blade is the only one that says that they are unbreakable, but do not let them fool you. I have broken several of these.

Sometimes the tip will get caught in whatever I am cutting an then they simply break off when you try and pull them out. I have cut anything such as drywall, insulation, paper, cardboard, plastic, you name it these blades will cut anything that they come in contact with. But, once they get dull you will definitely notice the difference. There are some products that will dull these faster than others, such as insulation or carpeting. These are the most common thing that I use this knife for and they will still need to be replaced on a regular basis.

Conclusion
Remember, these blades will not last forever and they will rust and go dull on you. They say that these are unbreakable, but don't believe them. I have yet to see one of these types that will not break.

Don't buy these if you think that they are not going to break. But, they will do the job in a pinch.
