I've done so much after-holiday shopping this past week, I don't even know where to start. But I'll start with my first (*sniff, sniff*) dissapointment...
I love J. Crew. My wardbrobe is full of J. Crew. But I keep forgetting that you have to be very careful with what you buy from JCREW.COM! Half of their products are not as shown on their website.
Their products look beautiful (online and in-person) but a lot of them are cheaply made. The Superskinny satin belt from J. Crew, for example, is a very flimsy in person. Online, it looks to be made with quality, stiff material and but it just droops in your hand in real life. Online, the Superskinny belt doesn't look that small. And even though it does say "3/8" width in the product description, the image is still misleading. The width of the belt (in-person) is equal to that of a small piece of ribbon... like the Breast Cancer Awareness ribbons? Well, not that tiny, but something like that.
eBay, here I come...
