I think of all the animators in the entire animation world, I probably have the utmost admiration and respect for Joe Murray. Not only did he create one of the greatest cartoons ever (Rocko's Modern Life), but has made some other great independent animations (such as My Dog Zero and Frog in a Suit, I haven't seen the Cartoon Network show Camp Lazlo) and is also a cool guy in general. Murray loves is fans to the point where they can directly email him on his website (he can't respond to all emails, but promises to read all of them), which is something that I haven't really noticed with much animators.
Aside from being an animator and film writer and director (for independent works), Murray also teaches animation courses.
