It may be a Kempinski but it's certainly not your usual standard of Kempinski. The hotel is old and highly expensive although the rooms are spacious. I wouldn't have paid for it again if I do visit Mongolia. There are better choices out there in Ulan Bator, like the Sunjin Grand Hotel which was actually closed when I was there (due to some diplomats visits!). So, if it's good for diplomats, it's good for me ;-) The Kempinski here has got the name, but no punch!
