This is a decent, well-made cover for the Kindle, but it has one serious design flaw.
The cover is sturdy and holds the Kindle securely in place. You can easily have your Kindle charging while in the cover, and it folds back neatly when you're reading.
The problem, however, is that if you're holding in your left hand, as I do, the corner of the cover digs into your palm. If you hold it a little higher, it won't, but for me at least, that's not comfortable. I could hold it in my right hand, but I'm left-handed and that isn't comfortable, either.
Perhaps when a new version of this is made, they could smooth out the corners? Or maybe make it so that the Kindle can be placed in "upside down", so that people like me would have a more comfortable experience.
That said, this is a good way to keep your Kindle from being scratched up and to keep it clean, and for a $360 device, that's no bad thing.

It's thin, lightweight and the bungee … more

I like the soft interior, I feel like my screen is protected very well. The big selling point for me was how slim it is. … more
I'm the type of person that treats books very gently; I don't even leave creases on their spines when I'm done reading them. To me a book is something very special, so when I received my Kindle 2 as a gift from my family, they were well aware of my penchant for book handling and added the cover to the gift. I really believe that this is an essential accessory to the Kindle. Not only does it protect the device, but it makes it feel like a paperback or smaller hardcover book. … more
