Kit Kat bars have always held a special place in my heart. When I was little, my father would always buy them when we were getting ready to go on road trips. They were the perfect car-ride snack.
Usually, four pieces come in one packet. They are kind of perforated, so it's easy to divide the bar into four pieces, which is perfect if you are pacing yourself or sharing with others.
The best part is the wafer inside; it adds a texture that is not easily found in most other candy bars. While the chocolaty outside is soft, the wafer makes the bar kind of crunchy (though not like, Doritos crunchy). It also lessens the sweetness of the bar, making it less overwhelming than, say, a Milky Way.
It's also very simple.
Basically, it's perfect.
