Deep amber color, very clear, slight head that fades quickly
How's the nose (smell)? Sweet, spicy, fruity?
Though it is a pale ale, the scent is more malt centered but not overwhelmingly.
How does it taste? Malty? Hoppy? Fruity? Chalky?
The first flavor is of a mild malt that is then overtaken then overran with hops. When the beer is cold, the hops flavor actually begins to move towards a metallic flavor, but as the beer warms this metallic flavor disappears and just the pleasant hops bitters remains.
Is it full-bodied? Medium bodied? Weak? Clean?
Full bodied and while the bitterness lingers the overall sense is clean
Where did you buy it? How much was it?
Birmingham AL, $8 six-pack bottles
What do you think overall? Would you buy it again?
The market where I buy my beer just started carrying beers from this brewery. All of the names for the beers are in French, and that gave me pause since the Francophones are not exactly known as master brewers, so I have to say I am pleasantly surprised that at least they have the idea of a pale ale down solid regardless of the language used to name it. I imagine I will buy it again.

I name and describe everything and classify most things. If 'it' already had a name, the one I just gave it is better.
