I appreciate that Lipton is attempting to improve upon the standard tea bags. Pyramid shaped bags with larger bits of tea "breath" more while seeping so there is better potential for improved flavor. The flavor depends upon the quality of the tea though, and at least in this one I cannot say that Lipton has done much better than their standard bags. While this tea has an enticing aroma, it doesn't really deliver when it comes to the finished cuppa.
It is an acceptable black tea, but the wild berry taste is rather muted. I would have hoped for a better flavor from what is basically Lipton's top-of-the line tea. Sadly, I found it just okay. That may be in part because I'm used to the fuller flavor from the loose-leaf varieties I normally brew. I can recommend it as a great-smelling black tea, but I wish the tasted better matched the scent.
