LoCash Cowboys ROCK Marietta OH-IO!

January 20th was the date for the return of the LoCash Cowboys to the great state of OH-IO (thanks for always remembering, Chris!) and what a way to start out the first month of the year!  The venue was the Adelphia Music Hall and Gallery Restaurant (wonderful nachos folks!) on the Ohio River in the heart of historic downtown Marietta OH.  The Adelphia/The Gallery is a combination music venue and excellent restaurant operated by some gracious and very friendly managers and showcases lots of great talent weekly.

Last weekend they showcased the LoCash Cowboys, back on the road after 20 days free of travel (note – not free of work because much of their time was spent writing!).  We were thrilled to welcome them to the Buckeye state and they melted the ice that was forming on the streets as we hooped and hollered to have them back in style.

The show was their usual dynamic and energized rendition of who they are – a true LoCash show – complete with old standby songs, newer songs (One More Hour) and their very own co-written, Billboard Number 7, up two from last week – “You Gonna Fly”, recorded by Keith Urban. The energy was contagious – the crowd was locked in to LoCash and LoCash responded in spades.  They also performed their new single due for release in April – C.O.U.N.T.R.Y. !

There was a lot of news from the LoCash Camp especially about the new online fan club name which will now be known as LoCash Lunatics!  Yep – the boys are looney on stage and they love the fans being looney about them as well! Who remembers Preston climbing the lighting scaffolds at some concerts – what’s more lunatic than that, anyway? And singing at the same time! It’s all about pulling out all the stops and just having fun during a concert and in life – it’s too short to be serious all the time! Their energy and outlook on life is contagious and spills into more serious arenas of charitable events bringing smiles to those most afflicted and needing the laughter and lightness in life occasionally.

There is also the possibility, about an 80% possibility, of a new (insert TEASER here!)…..I guess you’ll just have to watch the interview to find out what the teaser is, yes?

LoCash and their music can be found on Twitter, MySpace, Facebook, iLike, iTunes, Amazon, Eventful, Flickr and www.locashcowboys.com. Be sure to check out their tour page and catch a show as soon as you can – you may become a Lunatic too!

LoCash Cowboys Rockin' Out Cancer!
The LoCash Cowboys from Nashville TN were Rockin' Out Cancer Saturday night in Columbus OH, home of the OSU  Buckeyes!     In Columbus OH there is a marvelous foundation – Rockin’ Out Cancer – started and run by Tony Pasco and Brian Scheskey who are doing everything they can to help eradicate this unwelcome nasty disease. One of their functions last night was a fundraiser concert where 100% of the proceeds are to be split between the famous James Cancer …
