Ms. Frizzle
Anyone who grew up in the 1990s will remember this wacky book series from Scholastic (book fairs?! Were'nt those the best?!) Well, PBS also created an animated children's show based on the popular series. The show is just like the book and follows a elementary school science class and their teacher Ms. Frizzle as they travel to unheard-of places to learn about the world.       I'm a little old for this now (shhh) so several facets of the show escape me BUT I do remember what …

The books were written in the first person from the point of view of an unnamed student in "the Friz's" class. The class pet, Liz, an anthropomorphic lizard, accompanied the class on their field trips.

Since the Magic School Bus books present scientific facts in the form of stories in which fantastic things happen ...
