The two most famous and successful comic companies out there, and rightfully so. There are some other big ones out there but even non comic fans have heard of Marvel and DC Comics. You have been under a rock if you haven't ever heard of Spider-Man, Batman, Superman, the X-Men and well every other hero out there that has had a blockbuster film over the years. You don't have to be a comic fan to be a fan of these companies, you may be a fan of the films. Any way these companies have created alot of classic characters and stories. Glad I am a fan.

My older brother also made me a fan with his collection....I was a DC fan until he turned me to Marvel

Yeah, I thank my older brother for making me into a fan of comics. I owe everything to his Fantastic Four and Spider-Man collections.
