   Are you tired of your smaller children asking you what the day and date is, well, then it is time to get them something to help them along. If not for them, then for your own sanity. You can find these at any toy store that sells Melissa and Doug products. Everything that they make has the children's learning interest at heart. This calendar will last you for years to come, and only will cost you fifteen dollars. We have found that Toys R Us usually has an abundance of these products. …

This calendar comes with two sides hinged together in the middle. One side has a bunch of squares that will allow you to make any month of the year that you like. The other side will act as a storage center for all of the other pieces, 139 in all. Each piece has a built in magnet and is made of wood, that will stick to either side. The second side of this calendar is solid white in color, and you can even use a dry erase marker on this side. There is twelve little wooden markers, that spell out each month but you will only get five different year markers. Once you reach the last year you may have to look for an alternative method to put the year on the top of the board. You will also get special wooden pieces for some of the holidays and birthdays. The overall size of this board is 16" x 23" when you unfold this out and it is lying flat.
