Golden and cloudy like a light cider, very little head
How's the nose (smell)? Sweet, spicy, fruity?
Equal parts malt, citrus (yellow, like lemon or yellow grapefruit), and hoppy bitterness
How does it taste? Malty? Hoppy? Fruity? Chalky?
Initial taste is somewhat sweet with a little citrus dryness then strong but pleasant hops bitterness
Is it full-bodied? Medium bodied? Weak? Clean?
Medium bodied and mostly clean -- there is an aftertaste but it is not overpowering or long lasting
Where did you buy it? How much was it?
Birmingham AL $10 for a six pack (bottles)
What do you think overall? Would you buy it again?
Mojo is a higher gravity (7.2%) IPA but is not as sweet as others that get into that %age alcohol and the hoppiness is not overpowering and consistent from initial taste until the aftertaste has faded--this seems to be true even if the beer warms past the chill point most of us prefer. The six pack cost $10, no lie. It won't replace Sweet Water's IPA as my favorite, but it is now running a very close second. One warning though, it does not taste like it carries the punch it has so if you drink it at your normal standard %age beer ... you will hate yourself in the morning.
