The best parenting magazine, hands down!

Mothering magazine is the only publication that I can read from cover to cover without getting irritated as misinformation or ill written articles. The advertisements are even great because they are geared toward my natural parenting lifestyle and I would actually buy the stuff (think slings and other baby carriers, cloth diapers, amber teething necklaces, organic clothing, nursing wear, cloth menstrual pads).

Mothering offers two types of subscriptions, digital and print. The digital subscription is only $4.95, and it saves trees! Their print publication is made from recycled paper, so if you choose that it's stil earth friendly.

Not only is this magazine the best, but they have an amazing forum for all the "crunchy" mamas (and dads!) out there

So incredibly sad to learn Mothering is no longer in print! They have decided to cease printing and publication, but will still be an online company, love their website! At least that's not going anywhere. Many magazines (and newspapers) are experiencing the same challenges since people go online for everything and no longer subscribe.
