Service is good, but not their customer service!

I've been a Sprint customer since 2004 and the service has been great!  I've had no problems whatsoever.  Their phones have improved over the last 4 years as technology does.  Their plans are a big expensive though if you opt for "The everything" plan which comes with unlimited text, calls, internet, downloads, etc.  It'll set ya back about $100 a month though, which I think is a bit much!

Their customer service for lack of a better word SUCKS!  There was a huge mess up one month when I tried to get a monthly discount added onto my bill(Wal-mart employees get 15% discount) basically they couldn't figure out how to add it, then after being on the phone with them for an hour they finally figured it out.  All was well and fine until I got my bill the next month and noticed a $125 activation fee added onto my bill.  So I called them to find out what was going on as I thought someone may have been using my account or something.  They lady couldn't tell me, insisted I had to have bought a new phone and added it to my account.  I told her several times that I had recently added a discount to the phone and that was the only change I had made in quite a while.  She put me on hold, went and talked to a supervisor and came back and said "you MUST have added a phone because we see you activated it last month".  Again I told the lady what I did last month and she basically called me a liar.  That was it, I had enough and wanted to speak with her supervisor...10 minutes on hold she comes back and says they'll give me a discount where I'd only have to pay $75 instead of the full amount.  I was ticked by this time and told her once again this was a fraudulent charge and wasn't paying it.  She puts me on hold again and finally I get to speak with the supervisor.  I tell him the issue about the discount code, he says he see the problem and will fix it.  The rep never told him about the discount!  So he fixed it and needless to say I was still very mad over the whole issue.  Because of the mess he gave me a credit on my next bill.  That was all well and fine but it caused me a huge headache.  I've been thinking about switching carriers because of this.
