Summer... Winter, I usually have chapped lips...

...and as a consequence usually have some sort of stick or little pot of ointment in my bag. As far as texture and type, my own preferences tend towards the soft "medicated" type of balm, and away from the waxy Chapstick-type, which to my mind can be torture to apply to really chapped lips.

This means that this Nivea line is now my new fave. Somewhere in between the two extremes, it isn't goopy, and it isn't waxy. Instead it flows smoothly and gently, and doesn't rip your lips off. Enriched with Jojoba Oil and Shea Butter it not only protects, but stays on for along time, even after coffee.

Surprises::: One thing I was surprised to find was that I could apply lipstick over this balm without making a tooth-covering goo. I'm rather excited about this because my long-lasting lipsticks tend to be drying.

I really like this product and plan to check out other Nivea "Kiss of" products. In the "Kiss of Moisture" version there is minimal sun protection so I plan to check out the "Kiss of Protection" which provides SPF 30. And I'm definitely going to move on to other varieties which provide a bit of tint and shimmer. My 8 y.o. daughter likes to wear something and this would be a great pretend lipstick.

I keep this moisture stick in my purse or tote or briefcase - whichever I'm carrying at the time. The balm is soothing to my lips, which tend to chap, and glides smoothly. Isn't caky like Chapstick can be but is very smooth and easy to apply. My lips instantly feel moisturized and not as dry or chapped.     Highly recommended.

I like this lip balm and would purchase it on a regular basis. It glides on smooth and moisturizes my lips just the way I like it. Everything about this product shines. It repairs even the most chapped lips and each application lasts a long time. It doesn't go on greasy and has a very pleasant scent and is practically tasteless. Even the design of the applicator is a pleasure to use, and it doesn't get messy around the cap like other lip balms. Go for it, you won't be disappointed.
