Norton 360 Degrees

I replaced McAfee with Norton 360 and I am glad I did. A veritible "set it and forget it" software that covers anyone's needs.
the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is it is a bit "clunky".

I found my Norton 360 experience to be a positive one, as it does what it says on the box, but the horrible reviews of bad customer support concern me a lot. Unfortunately over time, companies can rely on name alone, and the Norton name still sells but there are a lot of options out there. This product will do what you want, but be wary if you have issues with it.    ****

As a technical writer, I have always had to worry about anti-virus software interferring with some of the programs I use. However, with the advances in technology, I figured I would give this latest version of Norton a try.    Surprise! No installation issues. Not a single one. Couldn't believe it. I had a little trouble installing this, frankly, because it required uninstalling another brand of security software, which just didn't want to leave. Between that and my Vista operating system, it was a slow process with several restarts. I don't think any of that was Norton's fault -- I'm just going for full disclosure.    Once installed, Norton 360 behaved well. It's in the nature of security software that you don't really know what it's accomplishing -- if it works, you don't …
