I have now been in college for 5 years and this is my first semester taking all my courses online. I thought I was going to be able to keep up with 4 online classes. It is extremely hard to do. They say you do it on your own time but it sure does not feel like it. I don't really save that much money in gas because I still have to buy the book and be on the internet to do my work. It might be harder because of the classes I am taking but regardless I would not recommend taking more than 1 class online per semester.
Plus the on campus experience is so much better. You get involvement with students and have an opportunity to be involved with student activities and clubs/organizations. Of course you could do that along with taking online classes but you have to really want to drive to school every club event when you don't have class on campus.
I myself was a highly active student on my campus. That is more why I am hating my online classes. But if you read my review about traffic in LA then you will know I currently do not have a car.
Again, stick to taking your classes on campus if you want an overall better college experience! Then again, some people prefer all online...the choice is yours.
