Your Children Will Really Believe In Santa If They Get This For Christmas.

Here is a thought, why don’t we just get our children a toy for Christmas that makes them do a little work instead of one that just keeps them inside of the house all day. Instead of an Xbox 360 or a WII, where they just sit and stare at a TV screen and never get up out their seat, how about a manually operated riding John Deere Farm Tractor with Trailer for Christmas. You might just be surprised when you child or grandchild gets on this toy and they never want to get off. You can usually find this toy at Toys R Us for as little as one hundred dollars.

Description
This is a manually operated John Deere Farm Tractor and comes with an attached trailer, plus this also has built in gauges that your child can play more of the make believe roll when operating this tractor. The tractor only weighs approximately thirty pounds and is the green and yellow trade mark colors. The pedals and wheels are connected via an enclosed bicycle chain ( for safety reasons) and uses kid power to move this tractor. The tractor will hold up to a maximum of fifty pounds and should be held to a 2, 3, and 4 year old, the trailer will hold as much as the operator can pull. This comes with a large bucket seat which is adjustable and heavy duty oversized tractor wheels to prevent it from tipping over. Just to give you an idea at how big this is, the dimensions of this tractor is approximately 51” in length x 20” wide x 20” in height. There is some assembly required but nothing that is too hard to do.

Experience
We have had this tractor for a couple of years and every time that our grandchildren come over we have a hard time getting them to get off of this and come back inside and eat dinner. We have left this outside and it has weathered any storm that has come our way. The only thing that we have to do every once in a while is spray WD-40 on the chain and where the axle goes through the frame to prevent any squeaking. As long as we keep the moving parts on this tractor lubricated it can be kept outside. It is very durable and does not tip over often. Only when the children get too rough with this, this is when it might tip over. There have been times that we have seen two children on this at one time and the tractor has still performed well. As long as your child has the leg power the this tractor will still move.

Our children have hours of fun going back and forth in front of our yard and they also like giving our pets a ride in the back. Our daughter likes to dress our smaller dogs up and take them for a leisurely stroll and the looks that she gets is the one of amazement that the animals stay sitting in the trailer.  Sometimes we let them take this tractor all the way down the block and they have not problems with the turning radius. It seems like the younger the child is the more that they will enjoy this tractor, plus this is very nice for either a boy or a girl. This also goes over any little hills that you may have on your property, without tipping over. There has been no reason to call the company because this is still in one piece and still working as long as we keep this oiled it has worked to satisfaction.

Conclusion
If you really want to surprise your children or grandchildren then this is what Santa Claus should put under the tree or set it along side of the tree. Just the look in their eyes will be priceless when they see this under the tree, especially if they never even asked for it or put it on the Santa list. Five stars for this toy for its durability and staying in one piece. You will not be disappointed in this John Deere tractor and I know that your children will be very happy with this.

Didn't know until recently that Peg Perego did all these ride-on toys, it's great! We're getting the Peg Perego Ducati motorcycle for our daughter this year (her #1 request from Santa ; ) We have the PP stroller and car seat, and they make really nice high-quality products, so it was nice to learn they do these toy lines with other big brands too.
