Outstanding local concert series. Family, friends, picnic food, maybe some boce. Great way to finish off a summer weekend.

Concert Crowd @ Polliwog Park
This is a tried & true haunt for our family in the summertime.  Everyone brings food & picnics to this lovely park, which slopes down a huge hill and has a small lake & great playground at the bottom.        There's a mini-outdoor amphitheater type of spot where the bands play -- some are good, some are just ok, but it's all mainstream fare that's hard to mess up.  Golden Oldies & Reggae always work for us - and perfect music for both kids and grownups …

Best place to be between 5 and 7 on a Sunday Afternoon in the Summer. Neil Diamond and Eagle cover bands ROCK!

Best concert in the park acts, IMO: Neil Diamond, Salsa, & Hyperion Outfall Serenaders (old-time brass jazz band).
