Work of art in structure and in words

I found this book to be a true work of art.  The first half is another telling of the Glass family.  In Franny and Zooey, Franny and Zooey Glass are the most prominent characters of the fascinating Glass family that are exposed to the world.  Buddy and Semour come to the forefront here, in Raise High the Roof beams Carpenters & Semour: An Introduction.  The first half follows Buddy lost in the midst of what should be Semour's wedding; in the first short story of Nine Stories, the story of Semour's honeymoon is told.
The second half is a detailed portrayal of the person and soul of Seymour Glass.  I found this to be a bit lengthy, but so beautifully poetic.
