I’ve been getting into some IPA’s lately, love the hoppiness they have along with the unique taste of the brew themselves as well. I’ve heard and had some good things about Red Hook brewery and knew I needed to get a hold of their IPA and give it a try.
Sampling the Long Hammer IPA, I knew I was in for a good tasting brew. The aroma right out of the bottle was definitely telling me this was going to be a good tasting beer. A golden color with a firm head. The taste is outstanding, the hops are blatantly present, but not overloaded like a “Hop Bomb”, which is not necessarily bad. The after taste is subtle, with the taste hitting the palet just right.
All in all, I could drink this beer all day long, ahhhh!
