This board is a great board to learn on. It is incredibly stable in the water and easy to paddle. Only drawback is it's really heavy.

This was the first surfboard that I bought.  The purchase price for the board was $450.  The board is constructed with an expoxy core and a mini-cell foam is laid over the core.  That layer of mini-cell is the 'softop' of fhe board.    The board shape is the classic Robert August "What I Ride" model.  It has 60/40 rails, a depression on the front bottom of the board to help with the boards speed and a thruster fin configuration (2 plus 1)    i …
