If Rose doesn't enchant you I don't know who ever will. The first time you listen to Rose sing, don't think, just take it in and let go. The music feels light like a summer breeze, uplifting and liberating. Marvelous melodies, terrific musicians - and then there is of course Rose, her voice, seducing and sweet, dreamy and playful all at the same time. But with Rose once is not enough. Once the last (hidden) song is over you just have to push replay. The second time around, listen to what she has to say and let her pull you along and into her world. You'll be surprised at what you'll find. Sure, Rose sounds tender and her voice beautiful, almost innocent. Listening to the lyrics will take you onto the next level. Rose's use of the French language is magic. The rhymes are funny and sad, angry and hurt - or suddenly simply bored for a day. Forget what you think you know about The French chanson. This is different. Rose is unique. Think of a warm summer breeze, the sun as it colors La Provence, the waves of the Mediterranean rolling onto the shores, a 2CV, a bikini, a strong coffee, a good book, a chocolat chaud with a croissant, or wine with a fresh baguette. There are a few thunderclouds in the distance but they never get close. Sweet, funny, jazzy and sexy, yes, all of that - so very French. I swear Rose will always have you wanting for more. By the way: Amazon's note that it has been discontinued is false. You can get it from amazon.fr, amazon.de and probably amazon.ca
