Samsung today also unveiled its new line of flexible OLED displays. Some Samsung devices vulnerable to remote hacking

A new exploit may allow malware to potentially access user data on Samsung devices using the Korean firm’s Exynos processor, developers said.In a forum post, XDA Developers said many devices may be affected by the bug, including possibly the Samsung Galaxy S2 and even Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Samsung AppStar 2012 with Grand Finale

Samsung’s five month long event called the AppStar 2012 came to its grand finale with 12 teams presenting their ideas for an application in front of a panel of judges to take home prizes in the form of cash scholarships. The AppStar 2012 campaign saw more than 3,500 submissions from over 40 universities.The team brought home a cash scholarship of RM24,000 and three units of Samsung’s flagship GALAXY S III smartphone. The world's biggest phone maker just announced a slightly bumped up version of its highly successful GALAXY S II smartphone, the GALAXY S II Plus. The GALAXY S II Plus is powered by Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.The new software features include Direct Call, Smart Stay, Smart Alert, Popup Video, S Voice, Voice Unlock and S Beam. Announcements come Samsung's own next-gen Exynos 5 Octa unveiling. The mobile processor will be the first to implement the ARM big.LITTLE processing technology based on the Cortex-A15 CPU. The GALAXY S IV will be the first of its series to come with the S Pen, which is a stylus concept first started in the 5.3-inch GALAXY Note. Samsung Plans to Ship Over 500 Million Phones in 2013

Samsung as the Korean company plans to hit a record number of shipments in 2013. According to The Korea Times, Samsung aims to ship 510 million phones next year, which is a 20% increase from the estimated 420 million devices it is expected to ship by the end of 2012. Samsung GOES Flexible with 5.5-inch Flexible 720p AMOLED screens Display.
