Prince V'sair evolves from a 19 year old young
man to becoming King by the end of the story.
The starting point has the prince struggling with
an elusive mathematical problem posed by his
tutor Emmicus. Emmicus was the guardian
over the prince since birth.
V'sair was long-legged with smooth skin and weaned
on the wisdom and knowledge of the local elders.
He aspired to become a warrior in order to do
battle and ride on prize horses.
Emmicus explained the dynamics of the three elements
Ozre(dust to rock), Ereth(water) and Ine(life). All of
these elements make the Trivium or the whole similar to
the universals discussed in Philosophy.
The book progresses to the final cataclysm which ends in
V'sair assuming the throne after a lifetime of careful
preparation. The story is well written. In addition, the
life and times of V'sair make for an engaging adventure.
