Multipurpose and very useful

Love this. It's so simple to use that I didn't have to read the directions-- tore it out of the box and just happened to have something right next to me that needed gluing, so I tried it. That thing was a fabric animal head that was supposed to be part of a book until my daughter pulled it off. I was able to adhere it back on, though I can see that if I pull hard enough, it'll come off... but still, this adhesive isn't made for fabric, and I was impressed that it does as well as it does on that.

For paper projects, this is fantastic. Replaces a glue stick with style. The adhesive dots are tiny and flat and won't be seen under the paper, unlike glue blobs. Very handy for scrapbooking, presentations, and arts and crafts projects.

What this little dispenser does is place a narrow strip of adhesive dots onto any surface that it's applied to. It can be used to attach pieces of paper to each other, or any sort of small object to any other one. It is far less messy than glue, very easy to apply and very easy to store. Replacing the dot-tape cartridge is also reasonably straightforward. The dispenser is built out of high quality plastic and it will last a long time even with heavy daily use. It has become one of my favorite office …

The basic design of this neat little contraption is the same as a liquid paper roller. It's easy to use, clean and convenient. The adhesive dots are a hybrid of glue and double sided tape. It works great on photos; it doesn't seem to wrinkle or damage them. Because it's more like a really sticky double sided tape than actual glue, you don't have to wait for it to dry. I am really pleased with this product, and it will soon become a regular resident of my junk drawer.

Scotch's Adhesive Dot Roller is one of my new favorite products, something that now I will never be without. Whenever I do public speaking, I cut and glue or tape typewritten transcripts of what I'm going to say into a Moleskine notebook. Glue was messy and tended to make the paper wrinkle. Tape is ugly. With the Scotch Adhesive Roller, I just roll a few sticky dots along parts of the edges of the transcript, and stick it right in. I save tons of time and end up with a better looking, more stable …

I love this little product. The price seems a bit high, but it's not only neat and easy, but it works well. I used a very small (1/2 inch) length of tape to stick a rather awkward project together (an envelope, folded over).    Very pleased with the ease of use and the way it works.    My tween daughter works on homework and other projects in her room. We just got new carpeting, and I told her she could not use glue and other things that could spill. With …

I'm a little disturbed that I'm writing an excited review about an adhesive office product, but I guess that's just part of getting older. That, and this is a really neat invention. You roll the device across a flat surface, just as with correcting tape, leaving behind a trail of adhesive dots in your wake. The adhesive is rather strong, about as strong as double sticky tape, but infinitely more convenient and easy-to-use. And even a little bit fun.

This is a nice little gadget for applying adhesive for things like scrapbooks, presentation boards, and photos. If you have a project that requires things being glued in place this may be a good alternative - no messy glue or paste, you just press down on the applicator to apply the strip of adhesive dots. This may not be strong enough adhesive for some things, so you'll want to make sure it can hold what you need it to - the package doesn't really identify what the limits are of what this would …

If you have kids that need to attach things to poster board, this is the tool for you! In the past we have tried glue sticks but they just don't work all that well. Elmer's glue is just too messy (and can turn a nice looking paper into a water wrinkled mess!)    We have tried glue dots in the past. However, they always stuck more to our fingers than to the paper. I basically had to do all the work as my children (now 7 and 9) just did not have the agility to get the dot off their …

The Scotch Adhesive Dot Roller is a handy little adhesive dispenser that allows you to easily and quickly apply adhesive without the mess that comes with glue bottles. It is easier than regular tape too.    It rolls on fine and seems to stick pretty well. Nothing has fallen off yet. I liked that you could go right down the edge of a photo we were putting on a piece of paper for a school project and none leaked out the sides.    The down side is the price. …

When I saw that this product was called a "dot roller" I figured it was the Scotch version of what I'd been using from the craft store to adhere pictures and other items in scrapbooking. When it arrived, I found that it is and it isn't. It serves the same purpose (to adhere things), but it works quite differently.    What I had been using was Dot n Go Glue Dots, which produces individual round dots between 1/4 and 1/2" wide that are placed about 1/4 to 1/2" apart on a NONadhesive …
