Great for the gift wrap station

A nifty little tool that is easier and safer than scissors and offers a straight cut without marking furniture or counter tops since the blade is recessed. A bit smaller than a toothbrush, this plastic cutter is contoured to fit in your hand. Simply place the paper to be cut in the groove at the end and push gently. It also has a built in ribbon curler that accommodates widths up to ½ inch. To curl the ribbon, place material on the grooved section on the bottom of the wand and press your thumb on the ribbon, then draw it across the curling edges.

The cutter is intended for straight cuts, not for intricate items. And one caveat, while the directions are easy enough to follow just by observing the device, take care when opening the package because it's easy to rip open the back where the illustration shows how to use the cutter and curling device.

A nice addition to your gift wrap station. Or use it to neatly cut around coupons.

This Scotch Brand Gift Wrap Cutter was just what I needed for wrapping gifts plus clipping coupons, cutting out recipes in magazines and much more. This tool would also come in handy for anyone with arthritis that cannot grip a scissor. This tool is easy to use, has a hidden blade that cannot cut fingers and also has a built in ribbon curler that comes in handy.    A great little tool that I find myself using a lot!

The Scotch Gift Wrap Cutter is a simple solution for cutting wrapping paper. It does exactly what a pair of scissors does: Cut wrapping paper. But it does it with a smaller device and no exposed blade. We wrapped gifts this Christmas with my 1-year-old daughter. We were constantly watching her, because the second we turned our back she'd have the scissors. That's not a concern with this device. The blade is hidden, and it it sharp enough that once we have never had a single tear in the paper during …

Yes... it makes gift wrapping far easier. We got this just in time to use for the last minute wrapping and it cut both the heavy paper and the cheaper-type (last minute run to the store) stuff. Other similar products that I've used had problems with the thin stuff.    Can't wait for our family's "birthday season" to kick in!

The Scotch gift wrap cutter was designed to be a safer more efficient gift wrapping tool than scissors. The blade is encased so only paper can get to it, but fingers cannot. The handle could easily be confused with a women's ergonomic handled razor. Cut from the top, allowing the scratch protector to glide across the table, then turn upside down to curl ribbon with ease. When cutting, a notch at the end of the handle lines up to the blade to indicate where the cut will occur.    The …

Much easier than using shears! This little thing is basically a razor blade with a plastic casing around it. The blade isn't replaceable, but that's ok, cause it's inexpensive enough that you can just replace the whole unit if need be.    At first it can be kind of hard to get the cutting started, but once you get used to it, you'll be far happier with this device than you were with anything else! Sadly, I can't rate the ribboning part of it, since I didn't use that, but the …

This product is really kind of cool. It is a new twist on cutting wrapping paper with a scissor. This little item allows the user to cut wrapping paper with a single stride. In addition, it cuts in a straight line, for the most part. The only suggestion I have when using this product is to use your hand to keep the wrapping paper steady. If not the paper will slide and this cutter will stall, so to speak. The only reason I note this issue is because on the TV ads the cutter just glides along its …
