Like Chris Christie in New Jersey Governor Scott Walker is standing up for the average citizen in the battle to finally get his state's budget under control. Public employee unions had better wake up and fast and cut the best deal they can for themselves. Congress is quietly contemplating legislation that would allow states to declare bankruptcy. If that happens some of these union members may wind up with no pensions at all. And that would be fine by me.  Once again Barack Obama is on the wrong side of an issue.

Scott Kevin Walker (born November 2, 1967)[4] is an American Republican politician who has been Governor of Wisconsin since January 3, 2011. He won the office in the general election on November 2, 2010, defeating Democratic candidate Tom Barrett, 52 percent to 46 percent. Previously, Walker was the County Executive of Milwaukee County, Wisconsin from 2002 to 2010, and a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly from 1994 to 2002.[
