I never quite understood the appeal. Sean Hannity is the host of the second most listened to radio program in the nation. And while I agree with with Sean on a good many of the issues of the day I just don't find him all that interesting. I find both the syndicated "Sean Hannity Show" on the radio and the new "Hannity" program on the Fox News Channel to be rather mundane. I consider Glenn Beck to be far more thoughtful and informative and Rush Limbaugh to be infinitely more entertaining. Also, Mr. Hannity tends to rehash the same issues over and over again and much of his radio show winds up being a monologue. I have a difficult time maintaining interest in both of his shows. Likewise, I am not particularly fond of several of his regular guests including Dick Morris, Newt Gingrich and most especially Ann Coulter! I find that woman to be absolutely obnoxious. Karl Rove appears on both radio and television from time to time and I was surprised to find that he in a pretty interesting guy. I also throughly enjoy the occasional appearances on the radio show of Pat Buchanan who is someone that I have always admired. Sean Hannity has been very successful at what he does for a very long time. He must be doing something right. He is just not my cup of tea.
