It passes the test

In my house there is one factor that overrides everything else when it comes to antiperspirants. Will it work for my wife?

For whatever reason regular antiperspirants just constantly fail for her. It isn't fair but that's the way it is.

Secret Clinical Strength doesn't fail, it works.

That means that price allowing it enters the rotation of stuff to purchase.

So if you have that same problem, antiperspirants that won't work, I'd give this a try.

I got this for my wife. Unfortunately, she wasn't crazy about the smell. She said it wasn't as good as the Dove ones she currently uses. Like some of the other reviewers, she found it somewhat difficult to turn the knob. I guess it's more a matter of taste, but she'll be sticking with her current deodorant sticks.

"Clinical strength" in an antiperspirant may be a bit much for the average woman who isn't a longshoreman, or who doesn't sweat like one.    But many women engage in heavy athletic activities, and would probably just as soon not have dinner plate-sized sweat marks under their arms. In that case, Secret Clinical Strength will definitely put an impregnable barrier between sweat and your clothing.    The consistency is creamy in an odd sort of way. This is definitely …

I should start by saying, I am not someone who uses a medicated, extra strength deodorant. I first tried the Secret Clinical Strength Advanced Solid, Marathon Fresh. I was really happy with it, but didn't know if it was worth the price difference from the normal Secret. When I ran out, I just went back to my normal deodorant, and WOW did I ever notice the difference. I don't think I realized how unfresh I felt at the end of the day if I had to spend any amount of time at all in the heat. Secret …

Sweating is not something a woman wants to talk about, but it's a part of life. Unfortunately for some of us, it's a bigger part than we would like it to be. I actually had several friends try this product out before I chose to give it a go. Their feedback had been mostly positive which was encouraging, but I still had doubts about whether this product would work for me.    When I received the Secret Clinical Strength Advanced Solid I read through the directions and as others …

the worst thing a deodorant could do (aside from popping up and shooting you) would be not showing up at all. so as far as i can tell, it can't stop odor, can't halt perspiration, can't even make a good paperweight.

This works very well - I stayed dry and comfortable even in the worst summer heat we've had in some time (100+ degrees). I've also tried the Sport version and, while I prefer that scent a bit more than the Light and Fresh, this scent is good as well. A bit lighter than the Sport version.    The downside, as with the other versions, is that the product is a bit difficult to wash off in the shower. Not impossible, but not as easy as other brands I've used. But, in terms of doing …

Summer means long days and nights of humid muggy weather. I have tried all kinds of deodorants, from roll-ons , solids and gels. By far the best one that has worked for me has been Degree for women. Sometimes however, depending on the humidity levels for the day, I have found that the Degree protection does not last all day and I can smell sweat. I was curious to see how a clinical strength anti-perspirant would work. I decided to do the ultimate challenge and apply the Secret Clinical Strength …

This product worked just as well as the advanced solid. It kept me dry during especially hot and humid weather and it kept me from stinking during my workouts. The application feels silky on the skin and I didn't experience any irritation or redness. The best part of the product is the smell. It is perfect for me. A bit feminine yet fresh and never overpowering. I actually enjoyed the scent activating when I was working out.     I recommend this product. Just as strong as the …

I've never used a so-called "clinical strength" antiperspirant before, and in fact I'm not sure exactly what that label means. It can't be the same as "prescription strength" because I got it without a prescription. I've looked at this in the store, the way you do at a new product, but I can usually resist the "more expensive must be better" argument.     My second unanswered question: why is it labeled "advanced solid" when it's clearly a cream? You turn the knob two clicks …

Per the instructions, you are supposed to apply this at night. My normal routine (and I'm assuming that of many others) is to apply it in the morning, so this took a bit of getting used to.    And then there's the doubt -- Will it actually work as promised if I put it on at night?    Well I REALLY tried this out. Just two days after receiving my sample, I attended a conference in NYC. The day we were there was hot and humid and like I usually do in NYC, there …
