Everyone loves a gift with their kids' pictures on it!

I've used Snapfish for a long time to host and share my digital photos. Organizing is simple; also it's easy and cheap to order great-quality prints that arrive in the mail lightning-quick. The more you order, the more credits you earn for free prints.

My nephew and his wife have two spectacularly cute kids and they take lots of pictures of their fun family times, posting and sharing on Snapfish. This summer they uploaded a great set of pictures from their vacation at the family cottage on a pretty lake in Maine.  When I found myself smiling over the pictures for the third or fourth time, one of my great gift ideas came to me: a collage! Snapfish has an outstanding collage product that's fun to use.

Here's how it works:

  • Choose the size (I chose a whopping 20" by 30" poster) and orientation
  • Choose the frame color, and a title if you like (lots of fonts and text sizes available)
  • Drag your pictures into the selection window; I snagged around 30 shots of the toddlers, all sandy and sunny and cute as can be
  • Click "arrange" and the AMAZING software shuffles them up into a random arrangement, with the pictures in varying sizes
  • Think they could be arranged better? Shuffle and deal again! This is FUN!

My poster arrived in about four days in a heavy mailing tube (my shipping was free by the way) and it's stunning; the paper is sturdy and thick, and the pictures are just gorgeous. I couldn't be happier.

Sally and Chris, I hope you're not reading this because I want to surprise you with the best present under your Christmas tree. Hang it on your wall and you'll have summer smiles all through the cold New England winter--thanks to Snapfish!

Want to make somebody happy? Go to Snapfish and make them a great collage of their kids.

Hi Devora, that free shipping was a special promotion but I can tell you that the poster prices are so reasonable ($6.99 for 11x14 and up to $19.99 for the 20x30 that I made) -- even if you have to pay for shipping, it's still a STEAL!

Yay for free shipping, especially for a poster!  Is shipping always free or is it a special promotion?  I've been using Winkflash, and they do charge for shipping, so I might just look into Snapfish.  That's a very neat poster making program, too.  Thanks for sharing, Linda! :)
