It is so exciting for any parent to watch their baby make those first attempts at crawling! It must be so thrilling for the little one to finally move from point A to point B, "mommy, daddy, here I come!" The only issue with crawling babies - they want to crawl no matter what and on any surface. I was glad Snazzy Baby sent us a pair of Knee Pads and Leg Warmers to test on our little crawler. The Knee Pads protect the sensitive baby skin when they crawl on any surface, be it tile, hardwood or laminate, carpet, or grass (though we haven't tried the latter because it is freezing outside!)
Our girl is almost eleven months and is not walking independently yet. She needs both my hands to walk or at least one, of course I can't do that with her 24/7. Her crawling has developed immensely though and she travels at lightning speed. The Knee Pads keep her little knees protected and off the cold tile floor. They coordinate nicely with the leg warmers. Around the house this is very convenient since you do not have to remove them to change a diaper. The great thing is, these are not just for crawling - they will serve us well while she learns to walk, navigate the playground, and ride her first bike or scooter. The only issue we had was with things sticking to the Velcro on the Knee Pads, it seems as though the straps were almost too small on her, thus exposing some Velcro. Maybe she's just a chubby little girl? Looks adorable though, doesn't it? Check out the gallery photos.
Here are some of the things we love about this set of Knee Pads and Leg Warmers:
One size fits all
Can be used on elbows as well
Prevents wear on clothing
Do not contain Azo Dyes, Phthalates, Bisphenol-A, or formaldehyde
