Here's the actual review that got dropped from the post... I was immediately drawn into the story which shocked me because this is a first time author. The style flowed more like it was from an established author. In the style of Chick-lit she does a wonderful job of showing us a flawed character who wants romance but doesn't want to be a doormat or blindly in love. The male lead is established sufficiently to entice the reader and also leave enough to the imagination. The tension between the two of them is well-played out and tweaked by the presence of a lovely slightly meddling older mom. I would definitely recommend this book to those who are lovers of this genre. It will keep you turning the pages, despite the fact that you know how this storyline usually ends. The process through it is well worth the read. I look forward to other books by the author as I feel she will definitely have a following.
