Enchanting and capturing his audiences with the latest gadget, the iPhone 4!

Even before its announcement, there was a big 'controversy' about what it's design going to be like. As usual, Steve Jobs does best what he does best! Being the spokesperson for the latest gadget of the year, if I may say so, he certainly knows how to make a presentation and capturing everyone's interest! Notwithstanding the network problem, that is ;-)

So, what do you think? Are you still getting excited over this communication gadget, now that it has reached version 4? I ain't got one yet, till today. Having said that, it's not that I do not want one, it is that I wonder if the next one will be an even bigger improvement?!! I mean, c'mon, how long ago since that last upgrade (3GS model)? 6 months or less? Ok, so, may be the guy is racing against time! I don't know about you, but to having to 'scrap' a phone in 6 months or less is definitely not my idea of consumer friendly! If not upgrading means having to enjoy your old model while someone else is "showcasing" their newest and latest toy, I'd say that feels rotten ;p

In any case, that's life. If you haven't seen the latest model, here it is...

For those who are interested in getting one, the version 4, that is, here are the specs & costs:
Day of launch: June 24 in U.S.
Colors: Black, White.
Prices: $199 for 16GB storage & $299 for 32GB.
Thickness: 9.3mm (said to be thinnest smartphone in the world).
Cameras: Front facing for video conferencing, back with LED flash.
Operating system: iOS 4 (possibility of multi-tasking).
Wireless carrier: AT & T (unfortunately, no change!)

"When we change the way we communicate, we change society." --- Clay Shirky

It may be a little too early to tell, but there are already questions as to whether iPhone 4 will change the way we communicate. At least, for Skype users, there are questions. So, for those of you who are lucky enough to get your very first iPhone on June 24, the responsibility lies with you! ;-)

Agreed, even with the questionable outfit (I bet his closet has nothing but black turtlenecks and jeans from the 90's :P), this man can sure captivate an audience!  I want the iPhone 4. Badly. But since I'm bound by contract to keep my phone for another year, I'll just wait around till, perhaps, the iPhone 5 is released.  Seems like they're being released on an annual basis now.  That's a nice quote from @cshirky.  It's very true as the way we communicate with one another evolves and expands.  I think the newest iPhone will make an impact what with Skype and FaceTime.  Thanks for your two cents on this, Sharrie!

There are lovers and there are haters. The fact is that this is a great phone with some great tech behind it.

Don't know why people get all out of whack about the announcement of each new product. I just wait for something to be on the market awhile before I would worry about it.
