Save Money By Purchasing A Suncast Vertical Storage Shed

My wife and I purchased a full size shed from Sears we did not know whether or not it was going to be enough room to store everything. After we had gotten the shed home we noticed that it was just not quite large enough so we proceeded back to another home improvement store called Lowe's and purchased an additional small 2.0cu.ft. vertical tool shed. We were not too sure about whether the price was the best, so we tried to do some shopping around a little, and we found that the same model at Home Depot was more expensive. Since we had already purchased the large one from Sears, because Sear's did not have one of this style, we decided to buy this one from Lowe's for only $135.00. As long as you do not expect to get to much, the price was not bad, it was only $135.00 plus tax.

Description
This 2.0 cu.ft. measures approximately. The overall weight is just 50 pounds. The inside dimensions are: 2'-3"(wide) x 1'-7" (deep) x 5'-8" (high). The door opening is: 5'-7 ¾" (high) x 2'-3" (wide). The outside dimensions are: 2'-7" (wide) x 2'-1" (deep) x 6' (high). This comes with a total of 7 large pieces that just snap together. You will also receive two door handles and a sliding latch to hold the doors closed. In addition to this you will get two door hooks that will help the doors open and close (hinges). The only way that you can open it up is by the two barn doors in the front. This is a light brown or tan in color, and it has the capabilities of being able to be locked, by a pre-drilled built-in hole in each of the door handles when you close them and the overlap then you can slide a lock or some kind of locking device. There is no rod or shelf to hold up your small tools. Although, this is big enough to install a couple of shelves, that you can use for the smaller hand tools that you may have. Everything will be safe, secure, and especially dry with this smaller unit. You will never have to worry about this rusting because it is made of a very durable plastic resin and is virtually indestructible. You can also use this for any metals or aluminum cans that you are saving to turn into cash, instead of having all of the cans that lay out in the open in bags for the insects and the bees to fly around to bother you. This is a pretty well sealed and vented unit. At the top of the door there is a gap where the top overhangs and that is where the air flow will come from. This also come optional nail holes so you can attach this to a deck or a side of the deck so that it will not get blown over by strong winds.

Experiences and Uses
When I first got this at home, I could not believe that it was so light, for the size of this it was, it only weighed fifty pounds. I started to wonder how this would stand up to all of my kids and dogs. It was a real snap to put this together, it literally only took me about 15 minutes to put this together. The whole time that I was assembling this, my kid and dogs had more fun with the empty boxes than anything else. Our daughter would put the boxes on top of the little dogs and it looked as if we had some live boxes vacuuming our lawn. We first started using this for our garden tools but as time went on, we noticed that it did a better job keeping the flying insects away from everyone when they came over for a get together. We having been using this for about two years and with all of the kids and grandkids’ that open and close the doors, it is a wonder it is still in one piece. This is very durable and can take a beating even when our grandkids take a baseball bat or throw a ball at it. It still has not cracked under pressure. We have extremely cold winters here and the freezing temperatures that we get has in no way has affected the integrity of this shed. When this is empty, it is so light, that you can slide it all around the yard to a different spot if you get bored with the spot that you have it in. We have tried all kinds of heavy tools inside of this and as of yet we have not damaged it. With all of the abuse that this has gone through, I am very surprised that it is still so new looking. If this gets dirty, all we do is just rinse it off with a garden hose and the dirt just falls off. Now, if it gets a scuffmark then all we do is use a little bit of bleach and water and elbow grease and let set for a few minutes and presto, it comes out looking clean as glass. Another use for this is a little unorthodox, but you could possibly make this into a large recycle bin.

Warranty
This particular model has a lifetime warranty and since we purchased it from Lowe's, they usually will help us out when we call them about this any product. However, as of yet we have had absolutely no problems with this tool shed, no matter what we use it for.

Conclusion
The main reason that you should get one of these is if you are losing tools to the weather then it is time to spend a little more money to save yourself a lot of money. If you are limited for space for a large shed, then a couple of these will solve your problem. You will not be unsatisfied, with the space that this will save you in the garage. The price will vary sometimes, especially if you watch the sales papers. We are very happy with this storage shed and I can highly recommend this to anyone. The main reason that we usually go to Lowe's is because of the fact that they give all Veteran's a 10% discount an all items that they purchase from them.
