This is the second EP from the great Techn9ne, if you don't know who he is you need to check him out right now. This dude is sick for real, a killer on the mic without a doubt from Kansas City.
1.CHOKING FROM IT-this is an intro track to the ep.
2.SEEPAGE-the first track is the title song and is one of those excellent deep tracks that Tech is known for. Of course his flow is incredible here as always and lyrically he is so on point. The beat from David Sanders fits Tech and his style perfectly, and Tonesha Sandera is great on the hook. The track has a horror movie feel to it which only adds to the atmospheric feel. A video for this would have been excellent.
3.ASSHOLE-David Sanders returns to drop another great instrumental that is perfect for Tech's style, and this is a great track. Tech killed the first verse with ease about what people think of him, followed by Big Scoob. Scoob is great on this track with a rough flow letting all rappers know what the deal is. The super talented Krizz Kaliko is the final guy up and for sure shows why he is one of the greatest artists out there, indie or mainstream. The hook for this one is great as well, another excellent track. For some reason I could just hear KRS-1 all over this instrumental.
4.ALUCARD-this right here sounds like that old school Tech that was killing em back before the first album, in fact it would have been right at home on Angelic. Tech's flow on this track is flawless and showcases his style perfectly. Matic Lee did a great job with this production as it is one of the best instrumentals I have heard in a while, and fits Tech oh so well. The beat feels so underground and epic at the same time.
5.BITE ME-this one is about a "lady" who likes it a bit rough as you can tell from the title. Tech has always been great with these types of tracks, more so a storytelling type song. This one is quick and straight to the point with one verse, producer Seven returns to work with Tech on this track. I love the eerie production on this one.
6.TRIPPIN' COMIN'-this could very well be the best track on the album and I would love to see a video for this song. The beat from Ozone Beats is smooth and kinda radio friendly with Tech and Kaliko delivering a perfect song over it. Tech gets deep on this one and stays real with it as he speaks on all kinds of things. Easily one of tech's best works, great song, Kaliko is amazing on the hook here as he always is. Plus I love the don’t mess with Texas line, love it.
This is a great EP from Tech as if you didn't know that was the case. Be sure to get this EP because it is another classic from Tech and Strange Music.
I basically am just a normal person obbsessed with Mixed Martial Arts, pro wrestling, movies of all kinds, music of all kinds, books of all kinds, and of course foods of all kinds. Just trying to keep … more
