Each time a new mobile operating system is released, it is almost certain that there will be software bugs and battery issues. Unfortunately, Windows Phone 8 appears to be the latest victim. According to The Verge, there are quite a number of WP8 users reporting issues such as random reboots and poor battery life on their HTC and Nokia devices. Both companies are not the only ones facing such problems after the release of new devices. When Apple launched the iPhone 4S in 2011, users were plagued with a battery-sapping iOS 5 update, a Siri outage and issues with their SIM cards on their phones.
