A True Masterpiece in the World of Art !

  • Jan 12, 2012
The Art Museum is a fantastic full color rendition of over 2500 works of global art
assembled by a team of 100 specialists from 650 museums and galleries representing
over 60 countries. Paintings, woodblock prints, tapestries, frescos, sculptures, ceramics
and manuscripts are displayed in a unified presentation. The periods are represented
fairly to include the Stone Age, Royal Art of Assyria, Ancient Egyptian Nubians,
Grecian Zeusmodels, the Terracotta Warriors of China and many other fascinating
art treasures substantially unknown to the general public until now.

The Stone Age Las Caux Cave is a panorama of the upper Paleolithic Period which
replaced the Neanderthal Man with modern homosapiens. The Royal Art of
Assyria shows people who identified themselves through warfare and a divine
belief to do the work of their gods. They were master craftsmen who built great
horse drawn chariots for battle.  The Terracotta Army was found near the tomb
of Emperor Qin Shihuang, which took 38 years and 720 thousand builders to complete.
The Terracotta Army was buried for over 2,000 years. So far, 1,800 terracotta warriors and
chariots have been unearthed after centuries of virtual obscurity.

The Art Museum is easy to read. The presentation is generally sequential by world
culture and time period. The art is full color with considerable descriptions depicting
the culture and people. i.e. Assyrians, Egyptians, Greeks, Chinese, Japanese, African

This rendition is perfect for the general public, as well as art historians,
sociologists, anthropologists, students of Egyptology, comparative global
culture, journalists, photographers and a plethora of specialists too
numerous to list in a finite review. The volume is available for $100.00 on
Amazon. Used copies are selling for upwards of $137.00 due to the value of
this work to collectors. This volume would be a perfect resource for student projects
in many disciplines. A copy should be in every library.
