The Golden Thumb is the official trophy of the Lunch Awards. The award was designed and produced by R.S.Ownen's, maker of the  most prestigious and celebrated awards, including the Oscar, the Emmy, the MTV Moon Man. 
It was Made of gold-plated bronze on a black walnut wood base, it is 9 inches tall, and weighs in at 6 lb, depicts a closed fist held with the thumb extended upward in approval.
The thumbs up is used as the official mark of excellence on Lunch.com, as part of their brand values to be helpful and encouraging.
The Golden Thumb trophy is awarded to the best reviewer in different categories to commemorate their achievement. Just as the Academy Awards set the standard for recognizing excellence in the film industry, the Lunch Awards will define how the highest quality online reviews are honored.
