Interesting lore for the WoW players out there.

  • Jun 29, 2010

As far as books go, this novel won't win any awards on it's own. However, it's a very interesting read and it's well written enough to keep the reader hooked. I wouldn't read this if I didn't play the game. But for people who are interested in the Warcraft universe, this book offers lore and backstory that any player will find intriguing.

This book explains a lot of things that seem to show up in World of Warcraft often. You will learn:

how the Orcs came to be in Durotar,
all about what it means to be an orc shaman or warlock,
how the Draenei came to be in Azuremist,
the relationship between Kil'Jaeden and the Draenei,
the origin of Kel'Thuzzad,
what happened to the Outlands, why it's floating in space,
how the Dark Portal came to be,
and why there are so many demons around it.

This book is certainly a worthwhile read for fans for World of Warcraft and the Warcraft series, especially anyone who plays an orc or a draenei.
