The 4-day Work Week by Timothy Ferris

My emotional reaction to this book was inspiration and excitement, that I CAN DO THIS feeling. Timothy Ferris inspires you to go out and grab the bull by the horns.

I would recommend this book to anyone trying to get a leg up in business, or trying to grab a hold of their life and control it instead of it controlling them.

The setting is the business world

 This isn't a novel. It's more of a business how-to.

Timothy Ferris himself is who we see developed. He is the ultimate effective business man who believes in generating cash, but not necessarily through work. He believes in the 80/20 rule. 80% of results are achieved through 20% effort, and is a firm believer in doing something FUN with that wasted 80%, like going to Bora Bora.

This is more of an informational book. He teaches you how to be more effective and results oriented in what you do, so that you can take the rest of the day off!

The purpose of this book is to share his secrets with you, so that you, too, can find your way to Bora Bora.

I would put this book in the genre of The Magic of Thinking Big, business books and inspirational thinking books.

The only pictures would be graphs.

Timothy Ferris is a party animal, you'll love him!

There is a companion website, but I haven't been there yet.

My emotional reaction to Alice Hoffman as a whole is peace and relaxation. She has a slow, easy form of story telling that is similiar to the writing style of Robert James Waller (Bridges of Madison County)        I would recommend this book to any educated woman that enjoys a love story that involves the depths of characters and human emotion rather than a lot of sex and cheese.        The Blackbird House is …

DELETE THESE QUESTIONS IF/AFTER YOU RESPOND!!        I felt very inspired. He lost so much, but the book touched on possibly there was meaning to his loss.       I would recommend this book to anyone going through a difficult time and struggling to make sense of it.        The book is set in Seattle, WA. The main character decides to take a major walk to clear his head, to Florida!        Our …

Richard Paul Evans has a lovely way of making women memorable in his new book series THE WALK. Each of the women in the story just pops in a way that makes them real for me, like someone I know and understand.      While I gave Evans' first in this series 5 Stars, I don't know if I will read the others. Evans is poking into new territory here as a master of one-book stories that are hard to top. I never read fiction, except for Richard Paul Evans. The power of THE CHRISTMAS BOX …
