I slogged through this seasons goofiness and plot holes all season because I knew from reading the book that there was going to be a HUGE payoff at the end, but the writers of this show pussyfooted their way through the entire season and cut out all the grittiness and REAL conflict of the books. All the greatness that was the book was changed for no reason except to make the show more appealing to the masses. Yeah, screw that, and screw you AMC.

I don't hate this series but granted I stopped following it after season 2. (saving it for free streaming one day) since it was so inferior to the source material (even Kirkham hinted that the TV series was watered down). I just cannot get into it with the graphic novel series just so compelling and entertaining

I know what you mean. I thought the changes in the first two seasons were fun at times, and incredibly annoying at others. But season 3 was its opportunity to really shine, as that story arch is far and away the best of the series (as well as the immediate aftermath when the group splits). Season 3 messed it up so much I'm honestly considering not even watching the next season, it was that bad.
