There are 365 aphorisms of the spiritual warrior. The salient aphorisms include the power of focus, order, persistence, enduring hardships, paths to responsibility, learning from mistakes, self sacrifice, motivation and commitment, an indomitable spirit, belief in self and others.
The Warrior Code has many well done illustrations. One major illustration is a blazing sunlight shining through a contrast of light and dark clouds. A theme of the presentation is to make an alliance with the sun as a continuing source of strength. Chaos itself is defined as being devoid of sunlight. And so, proximity to the sun is a source of peace and security. This idea is developed in aphorism 352. Each aphorism is a well-developed principle, a known truth or popular sentiment.
The presentation is a guide to practical living in this world. Aphorisms may be contemplated until practitioners reach the Mountaintop of Insight. Imre Vallyon believes that intelligence is developed through the experiential domain. And so, the quality of actions is a factor of mental capacities, timing, emotional energy, the physical skills of the doer and whether or not the action is in tune with the Cosmos.
The Spiritual Warrior must have a tranquil mind and a loving heart. The Law of Love involves kindness, gentleness, forgiveness, generosity, healing, tolerance, sympathy and a desire to help others.
The Law of Action is an important Law of the Universe. Actions produce results and effects. And so, the Universe does not function by blind chance. Thus, a single thought, feeling or physical act can have enormous consequences for the world at large.
The Warrior Code: 365 Aphorisms of the Spiritual Warrior is a compendium of wisdom developed through philosophy, spiritual teachings and workable strategies which have stood the test of time over the centuries. The book could be very valuable as a tool for developing sterling personal qualities to reduce stress and focus on meritable goals worthy of achievement or emulation.
