You New Yorkers really do have it all. But whether a subway ride or a shipping charge is standing in your way, go for it because a closet with Topshop clothes, shoes or bags in it is worth it! Fashionistas should always be mixing and matching patterns and Topshop gives them that opportunity. Florals, animal prints, lace, bows, stripes, polka dots, plaid, butterflys, you-name-it and they've got it!
By the look of their recently released Unique line at London Fashion week with outfits channeling only this generation's wildest fantasies, Topshop has certainly made a name for themselves. It seems they've stewed together all our furry woodland friends from Where The Wild Things Are, Narnia and even Fantastic Mr. Fox to create a spectacle of warmth in the middle of the cozy winter. Models walked the runway made of fallen leaves with daring wilderness-inspired outfits beneath poofs of hair and antler, fox and rabbit ear headdresses. As a city girl in a small town used to wearing Topshop blazers and evening clutches, indulging in these into-the-wild trends may be just what I need.
Topshop was my go-to store when I lived in London, as the flagship location was less than two blocks from my flat. They have a great selection, halfway decent prices (though Forever 21 is still much cheaper) and some great styles, even though some of their designs were a bit much for my taste.
