I've always been traveling around the world with a thought (or a theme, you might call it) in mind. Look out for things one'd never find in another country. It is the unique factor that make a country stands out. Be it a unique landscape, animal, food, people or architecture.

In Travels to the Edge with Art Wolfe, a professional photographer, we are presented with a well made series of travelogues covering from Antarctica to Africa, many of which are exotic places one will find it a feat to get to.

Art Wolfe traveled to

Africa: Madagascar, Kenya, Ethiopia, Mali, West Africa
Antarctica:Georgia Island
South America: Peru, Patagonia, Bolivia
North America: Alaska, Glacier Bay, Katmai, The Southwest &Mexico
Europe: Iceland
Asia: Japan, Nepal & India, Bhutan, Mongolia
Australia & New Zealand

As you may have noted, Art Wolfe travels to all the 7 continents and if you're a die hard fan like I'm about traveling, this is one series you'll never ever forget. Even if you don't get to these places, watching them from the comfort of your home theater will give you an idea what to expect when you're there. It can't beat the personal experience but it certainly a close second!

Initially I watched it on TV in Hong Kong. I did find a DVD box of this marvelous documentary in the stores now. For now, please enjoy the videos of this excellent series featuring Madagascar: They are some of the best sceneries I've ever watched on travels and I especially like the great perspective a photographer offers. I especially like the series on Madagascar (a place I'm dying to go now!).
