Apple picking, pumpkin carving, camping, dressing up for Halloween, Thanksgiving feasts…there’s just a whole lot to love about Fall. And with every new season, comes shopping!! Of course, Fall is no exception…
Uggs have been around for quite awhile now, but I never really understund the craze, maybe because I couldn’t imagine dropping $200 on Ugg-ly boots. Well, Uggs finally stepped it up this season with a whole line of stylish additions to their collection!
I may live in Southern California but it does happen to get pretty damn chilly over here by the beach. So, as soon as the last summer sunshine hit, I knew it was time for my annual boot shopping adventure. Although I’ve got a ways to go to complete my set, the comfortable and cute Ugg Australia Argyle Knit Boots (featuring a warm and comfy merino wool blend pull on boot with a sheepskin sock-lining )from their Fall 2009 collection were the best way to start it off.
I went with cream (for no good reason other than I loved them), but the boots come in a variety of simple great colors to match your fall wardrobe; black, cream, charcoal, fig or stout. Not only are they super comfy, making you feel like your cozying around in your favorite pair of slippers all day, but they are actually stylish, in an Ugg way. You can wear them straight up to show off the fun texture or scrunch them down for another cute look. Best of all, they go perfect with just about anything, from skinny jeans to leggings. I’m quite content with my $150 purchase, just hoping to avoid any messy terrain with the light cream color I went with!
If you’ve got your eyes set on Uggs this Fall, you may want to consider going a size lower. Not only do they tend to run big, but they’ll also stretch a bit. I’m normally a 7, but a 6 in Ugg boots worked just perfect for me. If your home brings a lot of rain, these may not be the best option, but you can count on them to get you through just about any other cool, crisp day of fall.
