These book really lets the reader imagine what the future maybe like. It discusses the path that our society is headed down, and makes the reader question whether or not we should change our lifestyle.     I would recommend this book to reader ages 12-21. It is a great reader. It is not only science fiction, but also a love story. My daughter checked "Uglies" out. It so intriqued me when I picked it up that I read it in one day. It is a great book for teens. The issue of being "ugly" or "pretty" is dealt with, but so is age, status, and censorship. Great read. I expect to read the other 2 books as well.
